ABOUT THE POSITION

As a mechanical designer, you will work in a dynamic team with qualified assignments, both locally and remotely. You will be an important part of projects ranging from detail design to complex systems, where your expertise contributes to innovative solutions and technical development. The role involves close collaboration with clients and team members. Therefore, we see it as essential that you are cooperative and helpful, ensuring that the teamwork functions as well as possible!

The workplace is the office in Växjö, and there may also be work at clients in Kalmar.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves working with varying mechanical design within projects, from adapting existing solutions to developing entirely new products and systems for different industries. This includes, among other things:

  • Working as a consultant in mechanical design, often at the client’s site, but internal projects also occur
  • Redesigning existing solutions or developing entirely new designs
  • Performing detail design and material selection
  • Conducting requirement analyses for new and existing projects
  • Designing fixtures and machine construction
  • Construction of facilities

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Have a relevant university degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Have good knowledge and experience in computer-aided mechanical design
  • Have experience with CAD programs such as Inventor, SolidWorks, and Creo
  • Are fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form, as both languages are used in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge in welding, hydraulics, or electromechanics
  • Experience from the defense industry
  • Experience in practical machine work, e.g., CNC operator, assembler, or similar
  • A driving license (B)
